Ever since I was in high school, I knew one thing for sure; I wanted to be a mother later on in life. From that desire I chose to study educational sciences and later psychology. With two university degrees under my belt, I find evidence-based research essential. During my work as a doula this strongly presents itself in my down-to-earth approach.
This means that my work as a doula for me feels completed when you as a mother feel supported in your own choices. I don't have a preference for a certain type of delivery, I value the way that you want to experience your birthing process; from a planned caesarean to a bathbirth with candlelight and everything in between. It's beautiful to witness the birth of a mother and it is my believe that mothers feel best what suits them best.
